What is Child-Link?
Child-Link is a web-based digital student record. It allows educators to take pictures, record observations and create personalised student records, day-books and portfolios.
Do you need to download an app?
You do not need to download an app to use Child-Link. Child-Link works on many modern web-enabled devices (including iPads), all you need is an internet browser.
How much does it cost?
The basic version of Child-Link is free. We have a number of inexpensive modules available in our Module Marketplace that will help you get even more out of Child-Link.
What is included in the free version of Child-Link?
The free version has everything you will need to get started making fantastic personalised student records for your centre. With the free version you can:
- Create student records for a limited number of students
- Make as many observations as you like
- Upload a limited number of images per day
- Create a personalised digital day books for display in your centre
Why are there Modules?
The Module Marketplace ensures that you only pay for what you find useful. All of our modules are very affordable and are charged on a per unit basis. This ensures that Child-Link remains affordable no matter what size centre you run. We also have a number of packages which combine our most popular modules to keep costs to a minimum.
Can I get rid of the ads in the free version?
In order to provide a free version of Child-Link, advertisements are required to help cover our costs. Ads are filtered to be appropriate for a child care environment. You may subscribe to any of our paid for modules to make use of Child-Link Ad free.
Do you provide support?
Child-Link has been designed to be very simple to use. This help guide is available for all users of Child-Link to get support. All centres can contact support, but purchasing modules will provide priority support and receive additional help.
